Alyssa combines vinyasa flow, strong breath work, uplifting music, and restorative stretching to create an enjoyable and gratifying yoga class. She has been practicing yoga for seven years and teaching for about one year now. She first began practicing yoga for the physical benefits but after entering college she quickly realized its vast mental benefits as well. With her strong belief that yoga should be accessible to everybody, Alyssa aims to design each class in a way that any level can be successful and find a safe space in her room. Her students will learn to move to their own breath and tempo while focusing on alignment and still finding a great work out.
Alyssa completed a 200 hour Yoga Alliance Training through Corepower Yoga in Los Angeles and a Restorative Continuing Education Training through Love Your Brain Yoga.
Classes focus on the benefits that each pose can give the body and how individual anatomy influences yoga. She utilizes essential oils and meditation to increase relaxation and further deepen the practice.
